How I started my Blogging Journey.

I discovered blogging while learning how to market better my residential real estate business in 2020, during the pandemic Covid 19.

I just returned to the States at the end of December 2019 from an extended stay in Colombia, my native country, which kept me out of business for more than a year and a half.

It was clear that the real estate agent job description had changed dramatically during my absence. I learned that more than ever, besides real estate sales having a good understanding of marketing in a digital era is a must for a real estate agent, actually for any entrepreneur in all industries.

In truth, I had little experience and knowledge of marketing, as I was reluctant to learn. I thought marketing was only for well-established companies able to spend money on extensive marketing campaigns.

I preferred the old fashion way of doing business, primarily talking directly to people, especially through phone calls or knocking on doors. It was back when people used to answer the phone and open doors.

I wasn’t very active on social media either because I thought that I did not have the youth and beauty to present myself well in photos. And regarding making videos, it was unthinkable at that time. English is my second language, Spanish is my native language, and I always thought nobody would understand me. People could criticize me for daring to speak English with my strong accent.

Fortunately, I changed my way of thinking. Now I’ve internalized that the most important thing about social media is the content I share.

I learned that digital marketing is essential to all kinds of businesses. I want to create a space for those who believe that no matter the circumstances, it is always possible to do better and be better.

Why am I doing it?

Because I feel it is my opportunity to exercise my innate curiosity and keep learning while helping others.

I am a lifelong learner with an adventurous spirit, and, in a sense, I feel I am connecting the dots on many aspects of my life, particularly regarding business and money.

From an early age, ideas about entrepreneurship and financial independence were on my mind. As soon as I started making money, I tried many times in various business attempts without success. It was frustrating, and I lost much money earned working as an employee in a telecommunications company in Colombia.

Looking back, I did not have the right system, knowledge, or resources to make it right. I learned entrepreneurial principles the hard way. There is no better teacher than a disappointing experience!

Since living in the States, real estate has been my new career for more than 11 years, and I got my first license in California. Soon after, I moved to Las Vegas, Nevada.

Blogging then allows me to integrate those aspects.

I can write about many interesting things related to my academic background in economics, work, and life experiences. And also about real estate, entrepreneurship, money, business, investing, and lifestyle, all related to becoming financially independent.

I’m a baby boomer, a person that, for many, should be retired, but I do not think so. On the contrary, I love challenges. I do know much about changes and have much to do and share. And besides, if I make money, I will be more than happy!

I am confident that I can add value to people interested in reaching their goals of getting financial independence by investing in real estate. I want to motivate, inspire, share, and connect.

And by doing that, I am contributing to their sense of fulfillment, and mine, of course! I firmly believe it never is too much or late to do it.

Also, I want to share a new real estate perspective from Las Vegas, Nevada, a vibrant city full of opportunities. Real estate is an industry that has proven for centuries that it is one of the best ways to create wealth and become financially independent.

Now, I’m embracing this opportunity to start a new online entrepreneurial business venture, making financial independence an outgoing priority. We all deserve it!

So, I would like you to join me on this exciting journey. Are you ready?
